hello!!!!just wanna share my experience wt u all there...

Today v had been to some close relative of my MIL..as my 19 months daughter s shy of new faces n strangers so she was bit uncomfortable there n becoming cranky..what I observed is all d ladies including myMIL n 5aunts r totally engrossed in gossips without noticing my daughter cries..no one dares to offer a helping hand..the hosts not even bothered to ask me if my daughter s hungry or needs something..it was well past dinner time n my MIL shows no sign of $getting up n returning back to our home..

well some how I managed n went into kitchen to ask for some food telling she s hungry..

This made me think tat all those ladies have raised kids ,now that their children ve grown up ,have they forgotten their days???Do we too become like this in d future..?I felt too bad ..

Hey Rimsha, i can imagine your situation. But I believe its not about forgetting, its about different parenting style. Decade back, ladies have morr than one kid and they were taking care of them in their way. They used to let their kids approach them in case of need. With time, our parenting style has changed. We want to give the full attention to our child. I think, here situation was like this only. Those ladies might thought that you are with your child and you know better, what your child needs. So they didn't give much attention to it. And one more thing, don't wait for other person to come and ask you if its for your child. Don't think too much, just ask if something you require for your child. Otherwise our child may have to suffer because of these formalities. Don't take my words in wrong way, I just wrote what I believe. Every coin has two sides.. So sometimes, we need to turn the coin n look at the other side.

hi rimsha thanks so much for sharing this experience. big reminder to all of us moms. i love every comment over here - each one is valuable. my childoo is 9 and STILL i always carry small dabbas of snacks (and water) wherever i go - even if we are out shopping! u never knw whr u might feel thd urge to eat!!! i myself start getting acidity if i dont eat every 2 hrs so i always carry an emergency snack pack and so does my childoo! pls start from now and be totally shameless whn it comes to ur baby. she comes first. i learnt this the hard way and kicked myself every time i didnt carry a dabba :) this whole thread makes an excellent article in the making naa @616d0591b34e550013eb9a72 @5fcc57acb0bd2f004606c655 @6372bc102338f60015eaf212 ?! #TagFwd @6371410cd28b060015d91493 @5b61fbe551c9b438dddaa20d @616d0a578054f30013c5487f
