She will cry out loud until we give her the lotion and she will be even happier if we let her put it in her mouth.

Hi Meghali baby is just 6 months, she doesn't know most of things and do not understand what is demanding. If you can elaborate what are things she is demanding ? will be easy to understand. And whatever she is demanding please give as she is baby. Children who gets attention immediately turn out to be more compassionate than the children who cries and cries for attention. Its not about who is giving in parents or kids, and its its absolutely okay to give in to demands.
