hello...my son is 42days now he has cold on and off....even blocked nose...for which m giving him steam....bt sometimes he all of a sudden cries for no reason...i dont understand whether its colic pain or its of cold....as i do take care of what i eat....bt still plz guide me with what should be avoided while breastfeeding...nd what should i do when my baby cries???
u can consult doctor for cold, as doctor vl give u nasal drop and syrup so that ur baby can breath freely & get rid of cold.

Crying is the only way baby will communicate in initial days. They can't even smile. Those smiles are refluxes. Crying can be for many reasons. Hunger, colic pain, blocked nose, Discomfort, cold or hot feeling, asking you to carry, want mother to be around, want silence..etc etc. Burp after every feeding. And keep feeding every 2 hrs once. You can use nilgiri oil ( eucalyptus oil) in bath water or use 2-3 drops near to pillow for easy breathing.
