Helloooooooos there!
I AM BACK!!! MISSED ALL OF YOU HEAPS! Am going thru all the tags and pinky promise will reply ALL!!!
Hope you had an awesome pausome week. We were in Singapore and had a crazy-fun-exhausting touristy 8 days. Met some old old friends and new friends (priya sood included!)
In my coming posts I shall try and share some travelling with childoo tips with you. My childoo is 10 years old, which is why we thought it's the perfect age to travel overseas so she can remember everything and enjoy all the crazy rides!
This is me posing at Trick Eye Museum :) #thetenyearold loooooooooved this place and posed everywhere. Some crisp learnings & tips:
a) Take your childoo to a variety of places. not just zoos/bird parks/acquariums
b) Exposure to art, colours, design, photography opens up their mind. they may be a little small for typical museums and art galleries so take them to something they can relate to
c) BE FUN!! act as crazy as your child and make the visit totally memorable. my child and me (and hubby) posed all over the museum and tried to be as crazy as possible!
d) Don't always be the parent - be a friend, a playmate, a good travel buddy. We often tend to be overprotective and spoil our child's fun. Let your hair down and enjoy the holiday...
e) Break the rules: When you are on holiday, eating healthy goes for a toss! You need to eat fast, fill your tummy and also don't want to spend a bomb. So it's okay to do the McD's of the world while you are out on the go, it's okay to gorge on ice candies when you are melting in the sun and have no energy to walk further, it's totally cool to snack on a bag of Doritos! Also, please try new kinds of foods to encourage your childoo to do the same!
More #TravelTips to follow....
Pls feel free to share some more tips in the comments below!! And also share your fav pic of YOU taken on a holiday!
