Here are some easy tips to keep your child’s teeth healthy during this time of Lockdown 1. Brush two times a day, for two minutes and avoid eating anything for 2 hours [2 cube rule] 2. Incase you’re child has been under the weather (stomach upset included) its best to change their toothbrush. This is a good time to move to an electric toothbrush to ensure all surfaces are cleaned. 3. Please start flossing at least once a day. Avoiding flosses leaves 40% of your teeth dirty. 4. For children above age 6, mouthwash (pediatric dentist advised) could be used after the toothbrush-flossing ritual. 5. Insure eating healthy. Avoid acidic foods to reduce plaque build up on teeth. 6. Warm water saline rinses are recommended once a day to ensure gums stay healthy.
