As many of you might have experienced, when you start weaning off, you feel excited to introduce new food items to your baby, excited to see their response. But on the other hand it also increases your tension like what to feed? When to feed? What's next?
Yes, now my question is what's next?🤔
So here is what came into my mind-
Recipe #16: Creamier mashed potatoes 🥔
INGREDIENTS
Potato 🥔
Ghee
Water
Formula milk powder 🍼
METHOD
🥔 Mash the boiled and peeled potato 🥔 thoroughly.
🥔 Now take a pan and put it on low flame.
🥔 Add some ghee and wait till it melts properly.
🥔 Now put the potato mash into it and mix properly.
🥔 Allow it to cook for some time and then remove it from the stove.
🥔 Now add some boiled water to it as per your choice of consistency.
🥔 Add a scoop of formula milk powder to it.
And ta-da !!! The creamier mashed potatoes (baby version) is ready. Although adding formula milk is totally optional. The credit goest to Tasty Foods. But obviously the baby version is totally my mind.

Srija liked it so much, so I am going to continue this for the next week. But if you have any suggestions for me on what I should introduce next, then please do comment below.
Please note:
👶 Always make small portions of baby food when introducing it for the first time.
👶 Don't worry if your baby doesn't eat much. Even 2-3 spoons are enough for 6 months old baby.
👶 Always use sterilized utensils for small babies.
👶 Whenever giving a new food to the baby, do a three days test. Give it for three days continuously and observe.
👶 Wash your hands with soap before preparing baby food.
👶 Use stainless steel bowl for serving.
👶 Use a round-edged plastic spoon to feed your little one. It will not hurt their gums. I used a Tupperware spoon. (If anybody wants to order any Tupperware product, then feel free to contact me)
👶 Never introduce a new food when the baby is very hungry. They might reject it.
👶 Even if your baby can't sit without support, feed her/him in the sitting position. Never feed them lying down.
👶 Give a sip of boiled water before and after the food. It will prevent constipation.
👶 If you notice something unusual after introducing anything new to your baby, discontinue and consult your doctor first.
👶 Giving ghee to my baby is completely my choice. I am not suggesting anyone to follow it without consulting your child's peadiatrician.

Thanks for the suggestion @616f02278a1b280013098252 but I don't think we should give banana or any such pieces to small babies which can be cut easily. I tried this with carrot bcz she can't take a bite, hence it will not get choked.
