Did my 28 week.scan yesterday.. baby is fine but weight is less , my doctor has told me to take high protein diet..can u guys recommend what all can be taken?
Second thing - my sugar has come 140 after taking 75gms of sugar.
Is it too much?
My doctor told me its on border so low sugar and low fat.
Does that mean I shouldnt have ghee also?

Namisha if u can hv nv then u must add 3-4 eggs per day plus lentis are also very important..chiken is full of protien, soya chunks also

Nimisha, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during 28 week of pregnancy n was advised to have only high protein diet. No carbs at all.
In high protein you can go for missi aata roti, all the sabzi, lot of dal, paneer, egg (no yolk) chicken n mutton too.
Don’t take rice, sugar. Anything deep fried.
Have butter milk,
In breakfast you can make urself a chapati mixed with any leftover sabzi, or dal. But no parantha. U can have muesli too, 2 boiled eggs.
In lunch, have 2 chapati with lots of dal n sabzi. Eat salad half an hour before both of the meals.
In snacks u can have makhanas.

Namisha u should avoid ghee, butter, oily food, potato, rice and banana, since my dr also suggested the same

Take paneer, eggs, meat, cauliflower, broccoli, almonds, daal, mushrooms, beans in your diet. About the sugar tagging @616d9066791e5a0013a088c7 do you have any idea?
