Hey gals I am 38 weeks + 2 days pregnant..; My due date is 3rd November..; Do you know generally in which week of pregnancy a planned c section is done?; Is it done after completion of 39th week?; I am going to talk to my gynec today about it but I want to know which week is safe. Not going to have a normal delivery due to some medical reasons..

if its a planned c- section please opt anytime after 37weeks.. as it is the period where baby will be matured well to adjust in external environment.. as you have mentioned 38+ weeks then you can opt anytime from now onwards..

Hi dear..cs can be done anytime after 27 weeks dependin on the complications etc...for elective cs..ur doctor wil c an tell u according to ur status ...don worry do as doctor says ..she ll knw d best for u...
