Hey mums..My son is 3.9 years old and he is in nursery right now..He is not able to hold pencil properly and curriculum in his school is running like hell..like every alternate day they are practicing new alphabet and number..Any suggestions from experienced mums how I can I improve his writing practice.Also is he small enough for all this...??
I am doing pattern book to increase the grip..

My son is of the same age ,he is in lower kindergarten, he knows to hold a crayon and colour that's it. At this age the only required skill is to help them hold pencil in tripod position, give him lot of colouring books, don't worry, they will progress

Thank you so much mommies..It was lot helpful...His school analysis much about all this giving marks in evaluation and calling kids for remedial classes...So that made me worried

It's common some kids don't develop that interest to write like other do and at nursery level kids are still very tiny to adapt quickly to these changes. I would suggest you give your bub a slate and slate pencil at home everyday just to scribble...may be after a week or two sit along to make him write sleeping lines, slanting lines n then alphabets..also try buying him an easel or board ... Sometimes it helps a lot. Don't stress too much he might end up being miserable about writing ... Go slow...👍
