This test is not a routine test in pregnancy, adviced if sudden fall in haemoglobin is seen or any morphological disorder is seen, so don't worry!

Hiee Sakshi i had done my NT scan and Hb test along with urine. When i come 4th month. Then i came to know my hb is low then dr. Changed my medicines, now i have again test my hb last month and my dr. Suggest to check hb again in the end of this month.
Cos low hb identified in my case , so it can be cured.

A lot of times docs suggest and don't suggest some tests depending upon different cases and their current health status. Alot of factors are involved in this like your health conditions, weight, current and previous test results, even your age for that matter.; My doc dint suggest me this test. She said she is satisfied with nt results and doesn't feel the need to go for this test. She infact had not suggested me even the triple MARKER test with anomaly but i insisted and got it done.
When i inquired her that why she dint want tk do double and triple markers she said i only suggest a test apart from the basic tests when i feel it is required. As long as i m informed enough with the basics one i dont go ahead with all the other tests. So it is basically you and your doc to decide on which tests to take and which not. Not all docs go for all test.

See Sakshi even i got this test done along with my NT scan... And even I asked the same question to my gynac as yours... So she told me that she'll compare my NT scan report with this blood test and it will give 90-95% accurate result.. So it's my personal suggestion to you that you should go for it
