Hi Shikha, Apologies for the delay in response.Weight loss/weight gain always causes concern but you are a new mother which means you are breastfeeding and all the nutrients from you go to your baby. Its essential you start checking on your nutrient consumption as right now you are the only food provider for your baby. The weight will drop once the body settles down in this new role. Try not making it your focus as that way you are feeding it with more attention than required. The moment you start enjoying this phase and accepting your self as a human being who has just gone through a life changing experience, you will start losing the weight. Weight gain or loss is highly psychological in nature.Post 3months after delivery, check with your doctor if you can start working out.Find a good fitness expert and as per that it is a good time to look into postnatal fitness and a new nutrition program.Check the amount of sleep you are getting as when sleep decreases, cortisol the stress hormone increases so we need to keep the cortisol levels at bay to check weight as well.ake a moment, breathe, and focus on what you can do today to move toward your end goal. Set realistic and attainable goals. Catch up with friends and as Asha says be sure to have date nights and get the zest back.

u r not supossed to lose weight in 2 months. ur baby is still taking ur feed and u really cant do much. what u can do is eat healthy avoid oily and junk avoid excessive sugar, walk after every meal. at this time u need to have a very gud diet as ur baby takes ur feed. once baby is 6 months u can join a gym or start working out at home.
