Hi all, I am 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I heard from some of ny friends and in some midwifery based institutions that climbing stairs wil strengthen legs and will ease labour. But aunties (relatives and neighbours) are scaring saying should completely avoid climbing stairs... what is better?

Hey dear, I've climbed stairs and did squats throughout my pregnancy starting from 4th month! There is no harm in it. Just make sure to be careful while climbing . All the best 😊

I have climbed stairs till last day, theres no issue, just don't strain urself, whatever us comfortable,do! But it won't guaranteed normal delivery..so don't overdo things thinking it will lead to normal delivery. A lot depends how ur case progress during labour.

In the last weeks of pregnancy you can climb stairs slowly if you don't have any complications in your pregnancy n yes it's true that it helps to ease labour
