Hi all i am 36 weeks and 4 days today. My dye date is on April 28. i had a doppler scan during my 35 week and growth of baby is all normal and its also in a cephallic position. My doc has told me to come for PV examination on 19 th of this month. I am scared about it. is it painful and why is it done?. Will position of my baby change again or will it be the same as seen in last scan?

Thanks Dr.Shilpitha. Can you also tell how long does it last the examination. And is normal or c section delivery depends on the position of baby or other factor

hello...
PV examination ll be not painful...u ll just feel tht...in tht examination one can knw the condition whether changes is there to cervix and to determine whether labour is imminent.
and position of baby will not change from now onwards at any cost..and it ll be same as in last scan-cephalic presentation
