Hi all. I am 39.3 days pregnant and quite close to my EDD. is it true that new moms should not sleep in AC room? in this hot Delhi weather,I can't even imagine that.
also,is AC safe for newborns?

its a total myth! our drs in the hospital insisted we use the AC so baby doesnt sweat. i didnt cover my head or anything that they make new moms do. i m a c-section mom and i was walking in the corridor the very next morning and greeted my dr whn she walked thru the hospi door :) its all upto us gargi :) pls listen to ur dr. dr knows best :) tc

It's a complete myth. You can use the ac and there is no effect on bones etc. Infact new borns also prefer a temperature of about 24 degrees c as that is comfortable for them. Ofcourse they have to be wearing a layer of clothes made of cotton to be in this temperature.

pls use AC - its a myth! also in such heat a newborn also needs the AC. keep it on comfy temp of 26. whn ur baby comes be sure to dress and cover appropriately and avoid direct blast. good luck!
