hi all , m bit worried abt my baby ,as he completed 7 mnth nd his wght on lower side ,what shud I do.

If you have breastfed up to 6 months atleast, nothing to worry. If you are breastfeeding now, even better! Start weaning with small portions of mashed fruits and boiled and pureed veggies. Focus on nutrition and his development milestones, weight will grow over time. If your baby is active (look for sensory activities, s/he will have appetite too).

in the first year after birth, a child ideally gains 3 times his birth weight. now there is no maths on how much weight he gains evey month. it varies. if your kid is active, doesn't fall ill frequently, achieving his milestones .... don't bother too much.
