After delivery i was doing fine and passing normal stools. But from last 5-6 days i am constipated and having hard stools after i put some pressure. I tried taking a stoll softner but all in vain.
I am having a very normal diet which we generally follow for 40 days during jaapa.
Please suggest and remedy.

Khushboo if the food is not helping you in any way then what's the point in following something? Eat everything. If you ask your paed also he will tell you the same, Even your gynaecologist.

Try this drink, take some pre soaked almonds, grind and make paste, then take carom seeds boil in water, mix almonds paste, and some jaggery to ur taste, and drink, this worked wonder for me. I had terrible constipation right after delivery. Even enema didnt worked for me. Also, try and add tomato soup with veggies and black pepper,it will help you loosen out bowels. You can also apply a topical cream hadensa,it will help relive constipation too. My gynae prescribed dulcolax and it did worked, but every day was a struggle for me so i included all this in the diet, take a stroll in the house itself, drink warm water atleast 8 glasses and eat more of salads and veggies. See if this works!

Yeah it will be like that for next 2 weeks also. Just keep eating lot of vegetables and drink plenty of water. It will get better but do not give too much pressure while passing stool.
