question
Hi all,
Today I am forced to write my opinion on the increasing crimes in the school premises. Last week i saw this fb post about a child who was pushed by other student from the school roof, he was in comma for 2-3 months. And now today, i saw another two more such cases, one was ragging or something where 4-5 school boys were forcing one boy to stand still and then one of them slapped on his face with full force, he lost his hearing power by 25% and he is in trauma. The second news i saw was even more shocking, Pradyuman, a second class student of #RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, GURGAON was killed in the school toilet by the conductor.
What is happening to the schools these days, where is the problem, who is the problem and why is there even a problem???
Parents are doing their best to provide their children the best education. They are paying higher fees to the schools only for the betterment of the future of their children. I am not talking about the top schools or average schools. Every school is same in many aspects, especially the crimes. And with these increasing crimes I am afraid for my child and infact i guess every parents are tensed. So what to do?? Should we stop our children to go to school? Nope! That is not even possible. Then what???

Well, The only possible thing that came to my mind is that every school should provide camera access to every parent and this should be mandatory for all schools by the education ministry. This way i guess most of the problems will solve automatically. Every parent can see the school premises and if any of the parent feel suspicious about anything then they can call the school department to enquire about his child and let them hear their child's voice.
I think this can be implemented but i know it wont coz then if something happens, it will be impossible for the school to lie or make excuses like they always did.
Its a request from me to please share this post so that every parent should get this idea of camera access and maybe the education ministery will also notice this post and then who knows if it works.
Also, do write any more suggestions as #how #to #secure #your #child #in #school #premises.

Thanks for reading.

As a Teacher I would say that teacher-child relationshp should not b restricted to only books n exams..children should have that bonding with teacher of trust that they can share their prblms not only study related but as general same with parent-child relationshp.
why students suffer so much why cant they share their problms atlst to the parents!
I make sure that my students are free to share their prblms with me n its been only 4yrs of teaching, can see that my students straight away come to me with whatever the prblms they are facing instead of going to the supervisor! we as an individual should be responsible! in every step we should b alert..n it should be made obligatory in every school for camera on each floor n should b monitored at the end of day..

Its only the common man who suffers, i dont remember any news on such incidents happen to any ministers child or any politicians child, we never even heard any of thier relatives faces this crisis. Why??? Whether BJP or Congress, its not the matter but someone has' to stand up. Someone has to take the necessary steps to make children secure in school.

@60e1b83e8c243b00139b1a40 , This will be very good initiative if really taken fwd. Whenever I read or see these cases im really worried about my kid. It's not just one case, there are many which are hidden by.
I was thinking there is no safety for women initially, but there is no safety for kids both girls or boys(doesn't matter). Even though we teach our kids the respect, friendly behaviour, good & bad, there are few people who doesn't care at all. This doesn't start from a parent nor end with the society.
But one thing is sure, being a parent I would be worried everyday thinking about my child's safety :-(
