Hi bc my baby is 27 days old.my doc told as he is healthy you will need to give both bf and fm. Also he gave me shatavari powder to increase bm. but the concern is whenever I hv it my breast becomes heavy and because of that my baby doesn't suck properly. What should I do? M worried.
Please tell me the name of shatavri powder? It's imp for me as well. No milk production

U can express some milk wnvr u feel heavy ...in the beginning baby can't suck in dat way and also dey don't suck for longer .. heaviness shows ur BM production is gud so nothing to worry about .. keep d track of ur baby' s meal time, after every 2 hours or before u can feed ur baby u can use breast pump to express BM and give it to baby through spoon ..

Please introduce your baby to the breast for every two hours. The more baby suck more you will produce milk. Kindly see you tube videos and check scissor hold. You baby has still not learn how to suck properly. Make him latch properly. Initial period the breasts are generally heavy after sometime it will become soft.
