Yes I have travelled Mumbai to Bangalore when my baby was 4 months. Bangalore weather now is very pleasant.. but becomes cold on random days. So better get appropriate clothes too.

Yes safe, I travelled before my daughter completed 3 months Mumbai to Chennai. Bangalore weather is cold now so take appropriate clothes for the baby. Have a safe trip!
