Hi , I am 28 weeks pregnant  and  just got the test done today. It is not a common  test in pregnancy  however if ur Dr. has asked to get it done she must have had some reasons. In my case , the Dr. was not able to hear d heartbeat properly it coukd be because the baby was moving very quickly  . you can ask her why she suggested  so. Dont worry its like an ultrasound , a bit longer  though . took me around 30_40 mins . Its a detailed study of ur baby's heart. Prayers with you. All the best .
