hi everyone,. I am 30 weeks pregnant and from last two days I suffering from fungal infection on my both inner thighs sever itching.. This will happen third time during my pregnancy my doctor suggest to apply antifungal cream and candid powder two to three times a day.. what other precautions I will take to cure it? please help me... it will affect my baby?
No it will not affect the baby. Many times it happens due to sweat and the thighs rubbing against each other. The frequent friction and the confined environment encourage breeding of bacteria. Apply the cream and powder as prescribed, wash or wipe the area with warm water few times a day and wear loose cotton pyjamas to prevent the friction and allow the area to breathe.
