question
Hi everyone. I am really tense these days as I am joining work in 10 days time after three years of gap. It is my dream profile. Training and development but in hotels. I have worked in hotels and it is a very hectic life. My little one is turning 3 this June and going to a preschool already and we are continuing the daycare in the same school as it has live footage we can always check. But still I am feeling very worried

Guilt is a part of the journey. Just take it with you, don't over think. Trust me a few years later you will be thankful having done this and your kiddo will be super proud of you

Don't worry at all! It might take you a while to adjust home and work timings as it is a new schedule but have the faith that it is not impossible if there's some discipline. You will have to cut out for the rest of the world for a few weeks. Just focus on establishing yourself in your new role and in taking care of the basic requirements of your baby. As far as daycare goes, trust them and let your child share cues. I am sure she will find her favorite teacher and friends soon. Don't panic if she eats a few bites of food less on one day or sleeps less on some other day. That's part of growing up! Enjoy the time you spend with her in the evenings - play, dance and have dinner together! Go to bed early and start your day early (saves a lot of time!). And last but not the least - Take the guilt out and throw into the dustbin! Remember your child will learn a lot more/ do a lot more in life even when you are not around.
