Hi everyone, I have a baby girl who is 2.6 years old, and I'm expecting my second baby in October. Since my daughter is also small, I don't know how to prepare her for the arrival of her sibling. We have told her, and tried to familiarise her with the idea of another baby in the house, but words and reality will be much different. What can we do to ensure she shares a healthy relationship with her sibling, and be comfortable with the idea of Sharing her parents with someone else? My primary concern is that she should not feel neglected, since after the delivery, most of my time would be spent with my newborn.

Every day keep talking to the kid, ask her to be the part of selecting dresses, choosing bed ,colours ,sheets etc. Ask your kid to touch the baby and feel the baby, whenever your baby sleeps spend time with your older kid....Take him for walk in the evng ...
