It is normal that tastes change due to hormonal changes during the first trimester of pregnancy. Due to this moms may not eat as per their normal quantity. Also you do tend to become cautious and avoid junk foods hence also there is weight control. The hormonal changes can cause a sensation of nausea generally between weeks 6-16. For some women it may actually last all thru Pregnancy. If you are unable to hold any food then you should discuss this with the doctor. However if you are able to hold some amount of food and water even though it may not be a large variety then it's just fine.

Hey anonymous.. Congrats on completion first trimester...weight loss is normal as you would have not eaten or can say you would have minimized your food intake due to vomiting.. Dont starve.. What ever food you love or feel like having eat it.. To avoid dehydration drink enuf water.. Doctor prescribed me protein supplement as i gained around three kilos in three montbs.. If you feel nausea or tiredness plwase consult your doctor.. She will give you some medication.. And dont worry these are very normal.. Enjoy your pregnancy.. ☺️
