Hi everyone, my problems just do not seem to end.. Yesterday I got my USG done.. (I completed my 36 weeks yesterday) .. My baby's weight is 2.775kg and everything else is normal. But my afi is 8.8 cm.. Although the report says it is adequate, my gynec said it is borderline and said that I should be drinking 4 Ltr water in any form daily. She has also prescribed L-arginine sachets. The problem is she said that I should be monitoring baby's movements very attentively and if at any point of time I feel they are reduced I should rush to the hospital. I am a bit worried now. My radiologist told me yesterday that my baby is indeed very active. I hope I do not miss any warning sign. Kindly help. @asha chaudhry@Nancy Singh .

Hey Prajakta ,
First of all relax...you are already in your 36th week in a weeks time you will be full term. after that if you deliver its fine.. check the baby movements but donot stress the baby can feel everything about the mother.. if you can't drink plain water try to take fresh juice , lime water , coconut water etc.. trust your doctor she knows your case better but donot panic... as the baby grows the movement will be less.
simple trick - if you think there is less movement drink something hot or cold and lay down on your left. then count the movements , if still you feel its less then contact your doc. ......
enjoy your pregnancy
soon your bundle of joy will be in your arms
