It is not normal to feel pain while breastfeeding. Move her away and have her latch again. Repeat multiple times till she understands that she is doing things wrong. You can also put pressure on her lower jaw with your finger to loosen the grip. This will also teach her to feed correctly. Make sure you hold her close so that she can hold easily. It would be suggested that you seek the help of a Lactation specialist to resolve the issue
