I got maternity pad from the hospital itself after 5-6 days I used normal pads...

If it's c section.. u have to use maternity pads that thing nurses will help to put and rest if it's vaginal delivery than u can use the Normal pads but keep changing frequently to avoid any kind of infection.<br> I had packed normal pads but later hospital only provided maternity pads.
