Hi friends my son is going to be fiveonths old in ten days. He is refusing to feed unless sleepy and tired. Otherwise the moment I offer a feed he arches. And cries and screams. I have tried everything... Collicaid ... Rubbing honey in tightening gums and even laid back feeding. But he remains fussy. Sometimes he goes without feed for 4-5 hours. He has gained weight normally till now but just seems to refuse milk now. I haven't tried any solids yet as told by my doctor. Any advise would be helpful thank you.

Hi dear, If he is breastfeeding and Not Formula feeding, I'd suggest create a calm atmosphere without any disturbances at all. Try changing this feed times too. See if that works. Else you may pump milk and use interestingly designed bottles to gain his interest.
honey is something you have to avoid it all costs till the baby completes a year. If his pee count is okay and weight gain is okay too, ask Doc for top feed. Additionally,; see if you are latching right too. <br>
