I had the same problem....Make sure you do not eat spicy or any masala gravy/ curry & sweets at night ...
I switched to light stir fry veggies ( salt& little pepper) to have with rotis.
Have early dinner & if you feel hungry at bed time .. either take a fruit or a glass of milk. ( i prefered cold milk)
Also try sleeping on your left side with extra pillow, it made a big difference for my heartburn.

Please do incorporate acidity reducing foods in your diet. cut down on spices and eat alkaline foods. plus ensure you eat regularly and not give gaps in between ur meals. incorporate an activity on my in consultation with your doctor.

Not eating or putting long gaps between meals will in fact cause acidity. Eat small meals and opt for bland foods. Try dry carbs like toast roti paratha with light vegetables to help ease the acidity.
