Breathlessness during pregnancy is a result of lesser space in the abdominal cavity due to a growing uterus. Simply put, your baby is occupying much of the space that your lungs used to expand in. As a result, you inhale lesser air and end up being breathless. Sleeping position: sleeping on the left is the best position for the baby and hence you will need to train yourself into doing this. Breathlessness can be addressed to an extent by breath awareness. Just sit down, relax and observe your incoming breath. Can you comfortably inhale more? If yes, do so. This way you will train yourself into breathing longer and deeper. Because breathing short and shallow is easy, we all by default do so - which is very bad as it is stress breathing. Practice the long and deep breathing with awareness. As you exhale exhale slowly. Your attention should be at the upper region of your rib cage. Because the lower part of your lungs is getting pressed, you need to maximise the utilisation of the upper part. Be aware that you are filling this upper region as much as possible. Practise this everyday for about 5-7 minutes. Finally, breathlessness is also a sign of stress. So let go of your worries and enjoy this beautiful phase as you step into motherhood. Stop worrying about body changes and develop a sense of acceptance.

Hey take deep breathes after waking up early morning ...drink lots of water and hydrate the body ...listen to soothing music ...please continue the walks ...whenever you feel breathless , take a halt sit in a place and take deep breathes counting 1 to 10 ..inhale the air and exhale gradually ...take care .
