hi I lost my 8week's pregnancy because heart beat is shown in my scan. my last scan was on 25th November n again my doctor rescan me n said there no heartbeat seen so I should attend to my doc. my doctor is saying that I should have Torch infection so that the reason u r getting frequent abortions so please tell me what is Torch infection please explain briefly.
Take a gap of at least 1 year before your next pregnancy and take your folic acid and haemoglobin, calcium check well in advance.

torch is a group of infectious agents that can pass from mother to unborn baby. it may result in repeated abortions or if baby survives is associated with specific congenital anomalies in the baby.
if your doctor suspects it, you need to get tested for it. kindly talk to your gynecologist and seek counseling for it.
