In case of irregular period it happens. My cycle is of 40 days so when I got to know m pregnant Dr asked me to go for USG which was 6.6 weeks as per my LMP, i saw only gestational sac n yolk sac. Then i repeated after 10 days, i saw my bean with 146 HB. And it came out that then I was 7.0 wks pregnant.

It is typically to see discrepancy of few weeks in early ultrasound. Even in later stages there will always be a deviation of 2 weeks
