hello..<br> Normally, in the late second and early third trimester the cervical length measures anywhere between 3 cm to 3.5 cm (30-35mm) and decreases progressively as the pregnancy advances, in preparation for labor..cervical length of 2.5-3cms(25&#8211;30 mm) before 32 weeks gestation seems to increase the risk of preterm delivery..If ultrasound shows there is short cervix, and&nbsp; less than 24 weeks pregnant, doc may recommend- cervical stitch...<br> In your case its 3.5cms i.e 35mm so it is no worries, again do one USG btw 20-24weeks thn it ll be cleared..

My cervical length was 3.6 at 18 weeks so doc had put a stitch. I was carrying twins and she told that despite bed rest, the chances of cervical length shortening are more. So to avoid any risk we went for the stitch.

hie dear..&nbsp; i also have twins so briefing u with my experience.&nbsp; my doctor told that it will be checked in fifth month of pregnancy of a twin mother..&nbsp; that a cervical stitch is required or not. I didnt had that stitch as doctor said it was nt needed for me.&nbsp;
