I had an inverted nipple situation.. it was difficult to feed initially but I did not give up.. we started with a combination of top feed and breastfeed. after a lot of crying ( both me and baby) we finally managed to over come the obstacle and baby started feeding properly. I fed him till he was 2. so basically the more you feed the more you get. so keep trying and remain positive. good luck to you :)

Breast milk production is influenced by two things, frequent stimulation and positive thoughts. Remember to latch your baby as soon as possible after birth. Continue latching the baby every two to three hours. Ideally baby should feed about eight to ten times a day from day one. This will ensure optimum milk supply. If you face any difficulties reach out for help from a Lactation counselor asap.
