hi Ramya. it usually happens because ur body is retaining alot of fluids. it's a very common thing esp towards the end of pregnancy. so don't worry. try not to stand for a very long time. keep ur legs elevated when u sleep.  it will help reduce d swelling effectively. also it's a good time to blackmail ur husband for a light foot massage. 😉😊.. take care n all d best.

Swelling in the feet could be due to sitting or standing in one place for. long time. The uterus at this stage blocks the blood circulation back to the heart and this causes fluid retention. However it can also be associated with high BP which is quite common at this stage of pregnancy and hence must be checked by the doctor.
