Hi I was 40 weeks pregnant with no sign of labour hence was induced pain. I wanted to use epidural only when the pain is get unbearable. but each pregnancy is different I have heard real stories of women who have experienced pain which was bearable and had smooth deliveries while few had emense pain. So dont worry about it now. decide it that moment. and yes  with epidural you want feel pain and it's a little difficult to follow nurse and push. better try till you may bear it. . all the best.. remember it's normal or c- sec. health of baby is important ❤

Actually, An epidural involves injecting pain-blocking medication into a space between the vertebrae and the spinal fluid, it usually takes about 15 minutes to work and lasts as long as needed.. An epidural makes pushing difficult.. And it will be difficult or not able to walk throughout labour, as a fact walk helps to process labour.. and medicine administered through the epidural or spinals will reach baby for sure.. and it works for very less women, as more of end up with forceps or c-section.. Hence, Epidurals are very safe for the vast majority of patients. Complications do occur, though..
