Phenergan tablets are prescribed on a short term basis for allergies such as hay fever, rashes or hives. They are relatively safe for pregnancy if used with caution. One precaution that you must keep in mind is that they are contraindicated in the last few weeks before birth so discontinue them once you are in week 35 or discuss the same again with the doctor. Use them on an SOS basis and only as per prescription. You may want to consider making your environment more dust free and keeping doors and windows closed to avoid the increase of dust. It is also possible to get a complete dust mite treatment done at home every few weeks to help reduce the incidence of the allergy.
