my is 3.5 month old. when he was born he was 3.7kg now he is only 5.6kg. atleast 1 more kg has to increased by this time. what i can do so that he will imrove. till now i waw exclusive bm. doc asked me to put extra milk(nandini) is it good or fm is good?

Cows milk is not recommended for infants under one year of age. The average weight gain in this period is expected to be about 25-30 grams per day. As the gain is on the lower side and if you have tried everything to increase milk supply you can consider formula milk. However would suggest meeting with a Lactation specialist to see if milk supply can be increased.

do exclusive BF..check ur BM whether its less r nt..nandini z nt advisabl till one year as baby ll nt b abl to digest n more prone fa infections loose stools..so avoid tht..if baby z healthy active n attaining his milestones then no need to worry..he ll increase his weight..otherwise go for formula feed..it ll help u along with BF
