i have started weaning n after liquids like juices n water now i have started giving her solids
i used to give three meals as recommended 1. fruit pulp mashed one
2. cerelac (she likes so i prefer for beginning)
3. any food either moong dal ..dal n rice paste...daliya or sabudana
.Each meal is upto gap of 4_6 hours n is of 2 tablespoon or 6 teaspoon
sometimes she finished n sometym just only 1-2 teaspoon
she is on bf n formula ...as per demand
she just take only 60-80 ml of formula ..but the article says it should 150 ml thrice a day....bf is as per her demand but i dnt know if she gets as per her need...
my concern is
Do i m doing enough...is she getting enough to fulfill her stomach...what else i need to do
i m worried she has not yet started sitting without supportor started crawl4?

at this age the child has no control over their hunger so they will keep eating and drinking what ever we give. as they grow old. so it may also be a possibility of over feeding the baby. the baby should always be fed first with milk and then about 40-45 min after that give the meal. choose a time when baby is most active for feeding meals.

i would differ here from all. this seems a lot for a 6 month old. 80% of the nutrition is from either fornula or mother's feed. solids are only an introduction to colors taste and texture. i am not sure abt the texture as everything seems to be in a puree/paste form. also, when u say juices .. what kind of juices ? juices are not recommended at all as they tend to replace the milk. at this stage baby shoulf be having just one meal per day and thats it.. which may comprise of 5-6 spoons as per the child's hunger.

Perfecto👌, Bf your LO as much as possible and always check her pee counts it should be more than 6-7 times a day. Give ur baby veggies like carrot, beans, beetroot, papaya, potatoes, sweet potatoes and all to avoid constipation. U can give "Ragi" a good option but check whether its suits her or not. Don't worry each baby is different and they will achieve milestones with their own pace.
