Hi mommies, I have been blessed with a baby girl 18 days ago thru c section....from that day onwards I am coughing....now it has increased n have phelgm like cough.... should I take allopathic medicines or use home remedies?

As I am breastfeeding I fear that these medicines will pass thru breastfeeding....if I don't treat may be cough will be passed on to my baby..... what should I do? Please suggest.
