hi mommies .my 7 month old baby having problem with similac advance stage 2..having severe diarrhea so my doc suggest to give isomil soy based formula... I just googled some review about soy based formula and got some negative review about soy milk. Hence bit worried. Do you have any idea if I continue similac advance 1 instead of 2? Is there any issue? and also my baby started having solids. If you have any idea on this could you plz share?

May be your doctor is thinking about lactose intolerance, so he might have suggested soy based formula.. my opinion is give a try for soy based formula.. and along with that try giving semi liquid foods like moog daal with ghee, suji halwa, besan halwa, aloo halwa, raagi sheera etc..

Your doctor advised isomil because your child must be lactose intolerant..so switching to similac 1 won't help dear..your doctor knows the best..

My daughter has been drinking isomil since she was 7 months old and now she is two month short of three..she is perfectly fine with height and weight above her age..also focus on feeding your child nutritious things..and everything available on internet is not trustworthy..trust your doctor instead..
