My in-laws are staying with us. My baby is close to 6 months and still he doesn't roll, I want to put more tummy time or sleep him on floor with baby mat. But my in-laws are very old and as they can't sit on floor they aren't allowing my baby to put on floor. They say put baby on bed and he will learn himself on bed only.
I explained them that this tummy time or rolling baby is a milestone for a baby who is near to 6 months but they are not understanding. I'm already worried about him, now this is one more worry which is bothering me. When my husband is at home, my baby sleeps.
please explain me how can I handle this.

I totally agree some things you just need to ignore. My baby is only two months old and my in-laws are already insisting on me giving the baby cerelac. they say baby will sleep more. I refuse very tactfully. you can always use doc as an excuse for doing what you are doing.

hi kamalini pls filter out and things u dont agree to just politely say my dr has advised this. applying oil once or twice a day is more than enuf. tc and speak to ur husband about this and try not to let it bother u...

Thanks guys, it's not just tummy time there are other things which are bothering like, don't give your milk give cerelac he is weak.. Put oil every hour on his head, hair should not dry.. They insert cloth into his ears nose after bath saying it will take off water during bathing.. likewise there are many..

Yes anisha is correct. You can give tummy time on bed, it's ok. I would say whenever u get a tym try to <u>put</u> baby on ground. Don't stress on rolling milestone... Every child milestones differs,so your baby will roll on himself.
