Being a twin mom of 3 years old boys I can totally understand you..set a routine for your twinnies..I never had 24hrs caretaker and currently no caretaker even..when ever I need to cook or something I make a play area in or near the kitchen..In this way I keep a watch and my work is also done..I ask them to help me by giving vegetables, fruits, utensils etc..
For food part try new variety with twist like paratha dough can be made earlier, try finger foods, khichdi balls etc..
can't say much about food as my twinies followed blw and I don't have any experience of fussiness..They eat whatever is cooked in the house..

Hey being a twin mom, I totally understand. Are your kids on a schedule? If not, try to make a routine for them. Till the time you arrange for a new caretaker, seek your husband's help. Ask him to come home a little early if possible. The time when you are alone at home with the twins devote that time only to kids, forget about the other household chores. All that can be done when the kids are asleep or when the husband is back. Keep your kids busy with some attractive books, toys and soothing music. Also make a safe play corner for them where you think they can play alone without any risk of getting hurt.

cut things in shapes. use coloured foods creatively (palak paratha, beetroot cutlet) etc. good luck. buy new mats or dishes - kids love the frills!
