Hi moms n moms to be,



How can a mom stop worrying about their child when they are not keeping well....???



My son his 1year 9 months old, on 29th January his nose started watering, I thought that its normal and it will go. But next day it was same, suddenly he started coughing. It was night so i feed him and made him sleep. While sleeping he cough very badly, so I just applied vapo rub.

Morning my hubby went for work and then I woke up and gave baba tea and gave him porridge. Morning he was not coughing but his nose was still watering. My 8 month old baby shes nose also was watering badly. i tried to wipe their nose but again and again it was watering, it was really like a nonstop waterfall.
I called my hubby and told him that their nose is watering, he said its cold and its good cause it going out and let it go. I was really confused... I was think "is it true cold goes out like this".



On 2nd we had a communion function so my hubby dropped me one day before on 1st at night. So that night my baby started coughing. 2nd we attended the function, we just took baby with us cause baba he does too much of masti.



Next day babas and babys nose was in same condition, only at night while sleeping both was coughing. So on 4th baba became very week like. We feed him but he was vomiting all. When his not feeling well he always keeps quite and calls granny and tells her to be with him. So that time was very tough time for us, couldnot understand the consequences. That time got a call from bros girlfriend, she started saying to take baba to the doctor and was saying why we are waiting for something to happen, just take him to the doctor. So my mami shouted at me and tolf to take him to that doctor, and baba had become hot and was vomiting. Mom started saying that at this agae kids will fall sick so before that we have to take precautions.



So old days when kids was falling sick they used to search for guava bud, jeera, haldi, garlic and in Goa we call it as (Kodu Auv). Mom collected all this and made a paste and applied on baba head we call it as (Bovro) and also tied it in his neck. Soon i called my hubby and told him that baba is not keeping well, so we took him to that doctor. Dr. Amit D. Kudchadkar (M.B.B.S.) Margao, his a child specialist he checked him and gave him cold, cough & loose motion medicines. Dr. Amit his a nice doctor his medicines cures kids.



After giving him medicine he stopped eating everthing, we feed him forcefully but no use he vomits all. On 6th he was little active, and also started doing his masti. Even Kaushlya -Community Manager of Babychakra was concerned and suggested me her advise too. Thanks dear for ur suggestions, I appreciate it.



Now my baba is feeling better and im little tension free like. But still his not accepting food, his become thin. On 7th atleast he ate organges and im happy. I was very tensed and worried. After few hours he vomited and we were very tensed. Full day if given water all goes out and he was sleeping all the time.
Today (8th) now I think his feeling better and his doing lots of masti. He had tea, biscuits and also he took his medicines and juices too.
Many are saying that at this age it happens. Kids fall sick and become very weak. If our child falls sick its a bad time for us moms. Its very difficult to handle that situation. So before something happens its better to take precautions.
