Hi moms.My baby got little white discharge 2 months back. I asked my pediatrician and she said It is due to dryness in her vaginal skin and she prescribed to apply candid b for 5 days. Now again she is getting it. Is it common or any infection ?
though some amount of discharge is fairly common, it would be useful to get it checked again to make sure its not a fungal or bacterial infection. also adopt correct cleaning practice, avoid applying soap, creams or toilet paper to genital area and make sure area is not irritated by clothing or sweat.

I think it's not common... please check it may be due to infection. if little discharge came once after birth then no worries. if it is frequently then chances of infection are there. my baby had once when <u>she</u> was 4 days old and with that little blood came out. dr. said it's her 1st MC. this is a sing of her reproduction system working good. <br><br>
