Hi. My baby boy is 6 months old. started giving him fruit juices without adding sugar and milk. for the first 4 days he drink that apple juice soo fast and showed much interest in that . Then we shifted to another fruit.after that he refused to take that juice . then I changed to thin spouted cup. He refused to take that also. but when give him in thick spout cup which I was giving water earlier he take juice by playing with that. is nipple the only reason for refusing as it will give the flavor of the fruit already given or he doesn't like that soft nipple. what should I do to make him take the juice .

never ever never gives juices to ur child. its not nutritious and it drops a feed. under no circumstance a baby shud drop a feed. if u want to give a fruit, u can give a mashed banana or baked or steamed apple. or a ripe chickoo. also instead of spouts, straws are recommended simply beuse they domt hamper in mouth development

hi @637293b798dafd001537b1fb try giving varieties of foods. steamed apple puree, banana puree, chikoo puree, mash papaya all are good. You can even give dal rice khichdi with some spinach. also some days baby might not feel like having so let it be. don't force. slowly he will get adjusted to new flavours. and avoid juices and soups. they are not as nutritious but still fill up the baby's tiny tummy. Rather give semi solid foods which are dense and will be healthy for the baby :) tc! @63724497649d8300169033e9 @61321b91c71eba0013440537 #tagfwd
