hi my baby had cold and cough earlier from winter ..now its getting better. ..but since morebthan a month he is passing green mucus watery stool one or two three tines a day. is it normal...? is it a good that cough is going out of body thru stool .? or we need to consult doctor .. other things of baby ate OK..but m worried about stool ..is it requite that baby should pass yellow poop ..which indicates hood health ?

he is 3 months corrected age ..he was born premature his actual age is 5 month. he is exclusively breast feed. while in nicu he had pneumonia which was treated but after discharge also he had issues of cold and cough ..that has reduced now.

How old is the baby ? Çolor or stools is not a big concern however mucus signifies that there is still some infection and should be checked by the doctor. if baby has started taking solids then an allergic reaction will also have to be evaluated.

Hi. This is something that bothers all new moms. Potty color and texture varies. It may be of different color but it should not have mucus. Kindly consult your doctor.
