He is just 12 days old. And doctor has given moxicip eye drop . Is it safe for baby? Because on one website it is written 'This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 1 year of age'.

Please visit pediatrician they will prescribe drops for that. Meanwhile clean that mucus using small piece of sterilized cotton dipped in boiled and cooled water, and discard after one use.
