hi my baby is 1 month old now.. her birth weight was 3.2kg and now she is 3.8kg.. she is exclusively breast feed .. urinating around 10 to 12 a day and pooping once in 3 days.. I'm worried about her weight gain.. plz help..
Babies loose about ten percent of their birth weight hence weight gain should be calculated as the difference between current weight and weight on discharge. The weight gain appears adequate.

Your baby has gained almost 600 grams over the birth weight in 30days. In addition you must remember that babies do loose a little weight app ten percent post birth. You need to see the weight gain in comparison with the weight on discharge. The weight gain seems adequate.
