hi... my baby is 22 days old today after feed I only held her for 5 mins and then put her on her bed and within a couple of minutes little milk came out of her nose... is this because I kept her flat on bed immediately after feed or is something else wrong... this has happened for the first time...

pls help, I am a little worried n scared...

my baby never spitted milk till 2 and a half months.. after that he started spitting.. now I burp him in between the feeds and after the feed.. and I hold him in upright position for atleast 8-10 mins.. his spitting problem is reduced a lot.. so, don't you worry.. just follow these steps.. and read the article by sheeba.. everything will b fine.

pls don get scared its normal.burp ur baby properly after every feed...and if it happenes again and again then see a dr.

hi Dhruti, you should burp your baby well after feeding, else baby will spit up milk. That is exactly what happened, and some of it came through the nose because nose and mouth are connected. If you don't burp, she can also get gas problems.
